Since September 21, 2007, the end of the Great University of Minnesota AFSCME Strike of 2007, dozens of union workers meet regularly on the west bank to continue growing power. We are the Living Wage Avengers, colleagues who met on the picket lines, a group committed to taking direct action for the sake of economic justice, a group that exists because of the strike. We are not sanctioned by any official union organization, so we do whatever we want.
